Abstract

This is a collection containing a vast array of varied items and topics. They all focus on different aspects of Wilmington, and range from history of the first post office established in 1864, to showcasing Wilmington during World War Two, and even images of quilt made to memorialize the victims of 9/11. The scope of the materials is wide and tends to cover many different topics. There are 4 archival boxes in this collection, the first three are folders housing photos and documents and the last box is ephemera from various topics (plastic cups, medals etc).
