Description

The cover page for the official program of the Aviation Meet on January 14, 1910 in Los Angeles. It was the first national aviation meet ever held in the U.S, put on by the Dominguez Family. Most of the 100,000 spectators came using the Pacific Electric Railway special trains, by horse and wagon, and some by their own new-fangled motor cars, some of which had trouble climbing the quarter-mile dirt road to the site of the meet.
